Oregon Attractions Join TripKid Souvenir Stamp Program

Clayton, N.C., April 11 /PR Newswire/  -- Oregonians have a new reason to visit museums, aquariums and attractions in their own state.  More than a dozen such businesses have joined the TripKid Souvenir Stamp Program, agreeing to mark visitor’s souvenir passports with a keepsake stamp or sticker.  The nationwide program was developed by Game Technologies, Inc., (OTC Pink Sheets: GTKN) of Clayton, N.C.

The souvenir stickers and stamps are free to visitors, who collect them in special passports as reminders of past adventures. Souvenir passports are available for purchase at Portland’s Forest Discovery Center, Wildlife Trading Company of New Mexico at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and on-line at www.tripkids.com.

Membership in the TripKid Souvenir Stamp Program is free.  Member attractions provide their own rubber stamp or stickers, or they can purchase supplies from Game Technologies. Program members are listed with an image of their stamp in the Travel Planning section at www.tripkids.com.  The site also provides program enrollment information, TripKid product information, and kid-oriented travel information, activities and advice.

A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village in Salem was the first program member from Oregon. "We are privileged to be a part of such a creative collaborative effort," said Stephanie Snyder, A.C. Gilbert's Communications Director.  “The TripKids program allows us to provide travel incentives that make memories for children as well as highlight all that we as attractions have to offer.”

“The response by Oregon attractions has been very enthusiastic,” said Game Technologies Executive VP LeeAnne Poole. “This program is a great way to inspire Oregon residents to find and enjoy some of the wonderful attractions, parks and museums that are often just around the corner.  And like ‘real’ passport stamps, each image represents a special moment in a person’s life.”

"We are in the business of making memories," agrees Kim Spence, Sr. VP of Marketing for the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Chair of the Oregon Attractions Group. "A free souvenir sticker or stamp is a great way for a child to capture a special memory of their visit to one or more of their favorite Oregon attractions!"
